Detailed instructions for redeeming by device
1. Nintendo Switch
- If you haven’t already, set up an internet connection on Nintendo Switch system
- Make sure Nintendo Switch system has the latest system update
- From the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu, select the Nintendo eShop icon
- Select "Enter Code
- Enter download code and click "Send
2. Wii U
- If you haven’t already, set up an Internet connection to system and make sure device has the latest system update
- From the HOME Menu, select the Nintendo e-Shop icon
- Select "Balance" from the menu on the left side of the screen
- Tap button that says "Nintendo e-Shop Card
- Tap the box that says, Enter the code
- Use the touch screen to enter the activation code from the Digital Card and tap "OK"
- Select "Add"
3. Nintendo 2DS/3DS/3DS XL
- If you haven’t already, set up an Internet connection to system and make sure device
- has the latest system update
- From the HOME Menu, select the Nintendo eShop icon
- Scroll left and select "Add Funds
- Select "Redeem a Nintendo eShop Card
- Tap the box that says, "Enter the activation code
- Use the touch screen to enter the activation code from the Digital Card and tap "OK
- Tap "OK" again
- After the purchase, your e-Gift Card will be available under the "My transactions" page within 24 hours
- Additionally, you will receive an activation link for your e-Gift Card by email within 4 business days

- There is a maximum unused account balance that may be stored on a single Nintendo eShop account, and the card may, as a result, be temporarily unredeemable
